Welcome to the Sandra Lees School of Highland Dancing Website
Our Highland Dance School offers a warm and welcoming learning environment where dancers learn to dance in a fun and exciting way.
Our dance school accepts pupils from the age of 3 years and upwards and there are no auditions held to join our dance school.  We introduce the basics in a stimulating way ensuring dancers start building a strong dance foundation.
Our class structure supports dancers wishing to compete at all levels from Beginners to Championship level. We also provide excellent tuition for dancers wishing to gain qualifications from our tiny tartan tots to fully qualified teachers.
With traditional Highland Dances, Scottish National Dances, Jigs, Hornpipes  there is always something new to learn.
Lees Dancers have many successes and have appeared on STV and BBC. They loved being involved with the filming of the UNICEF section for the opening of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2015
Our Premier dancers have placed in many major championships across Scotland and Canada. Others have enjoyed international travel after successfully auditioning and gaining a dancer place in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Basel Tattoo, Australian and New Zealand Tattoos.
Many of our younger highland dancers also compete at competitions and Highland Games all over Scotland while other pupils come to our dancing lessons just to learn the dances, make new friends as well as keeping fit.
The Covid 19 pandemic resulted in us moving to online classes but we are now back in studio working together again.  We are all part of a great dancing family and now balance studio and online lessons to suit the needs of all dancers facing challenging times.
In August 2021, we will be offering some fantastic new classes including Tartan Toes / Jazzy Toes for children age 3 - 5 years. We also have highland, ballet, tap and jazz lessons for age 5 - 10 years. Just email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for informatio
